Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
- Your portfolios, funds and transactions are stored only on your phone. We never receive them.
- There are no accounts and no ads, and we don't use your Advertising ID.
- We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to see how the app is used and to fix crashes, and RevenueCat to handle Premium purchases.
- We don't sell your data.
This policy explains what the WealthWatch app ("WealthWatch", "we", "us") does with your information. It applies to the WealthWatch app on Android and iOS.
Data that stays on your device
Everything you enter (portfolio names, the funds you hold, buys, sells, dividends, DCA plans and your settings) is saved in the app's storage on your phone. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and it stays usable offline.
Two features let you move that data off your phone, and only when you choose to:
- Export saves a CSV file to a location you pick. Where it goes after that is up to you.
- Share creates an image of your returns and opens your phone's share menu. "Hide amounts" is on by default, so only percentages are shown unless you turn it off.
Fund prices
To show NAV, prices and dividends, the app downloads fund data from our server. These requests contain only fund codes and dates. They never include your amounts, units, portfolios or anything that identifies you. Like any web server, ours sees your IP address when it answers a request and may keep it briefly in its logs for security and to keep the service running.
Services we use
Firebase Analytics (Google)
Tells us how the app is used so we can improve it, such as which screens are opened and how often. It collects app usage events, an app instance ID created for your installation, device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate location (country or city) derived from your IP address. It does not receive your portfolio data. Firebase privacy
Firebase Crashlytics (Google)
Sends us a report when the app crashes so we can fix it. A report contains the technical details of the error, device model, operating system, app version and an installation ID. Firebase privacy
RevenueCat
Manages Premium purchases and lets you restore them on a new phone. It receives a random app user ID, your purchase and subscription records from Google Play or the App Store, device and operating system information, and your IP address. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or Apple. We never see your card or payment details. RevenueCat privacy
These providers process data for us under their own terms and may store it on servers outside Thailand, including in the United States.
What we don't do
- We don't require an account, email address or phone number.
- We don't show ads or use your Advertising ID.
- We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for advertising or marketing.
- We don't buy or sell funds for you. WealthWatch is a tracker only.
How long data is kept
- On your phone: until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
- Firebase Analytics: up to 14 months.
- Crashlytics: 90 days.
- RevenueCat: as long as needed to restore your purchases and meet accounting and legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can delete any portfolio, fund or transaction in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes all of your data from the phone and resets the IDs used by Analytics and Crashlytics.
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete data held about you, or object to its use. Because we don't have accounts, the data held by our service providers isn't linked to your name or email. Email us and we'll do what we can to find and delete it.
Children
WealthWatch is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Security
All connections to our server and to our service providers use HTTPS. Your portfolio data is protected by your phone's own security, so keep your device locked.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects how your data is handled, we'll also mention it in the app's release notes.
